Ferrari’s newest car, the Roma, is a four-seater grand-tourer with stunning looks and a 612-horsepower twin-turbo V-8. With a starting price over $200,000, it’s likely out of reach for most people. But that doesn’t mean you still can’t design your own. Ferrari’s just released an official configurator for the Roma, and we’ve been killing time on it all morning.
As with most Ferraris, the color options and combinations are only as limited as your imagination (and the size of your wallet). There are 28 different exterior colors to choose from, and 15 different interior leather choices. Factor in the 18 stitching color options, six different types of wheels, five different brake caliper colors, and three different shades of exhaust tip finish, and you’ve got yourself a recipe for killing time.
The configurator even includes smaller details, like whether you’d like aluminum pedals, carbon fiber accents, or floor mats with embroidered logos. What it doesn’t include, however, is any pricing. That’s typical fare for Ferrari configurators, but you don’t have to know much to understand it’s going to be expensive.
If you have some time to kill, try out the configurator for yourself and build your ideal Roma. Chances are you’ll spend more time on it than you think.
